在大數據爲應用背景的科技革新下,對於數據科學、智慧生活、智慧城市、智慧社會和管理科學等領域帶來了新的方向與機遇,不斷積累的海量數據正在重構世界,深刻改變人類社會。對應大數據發展的蓬勃之勢, 數據科學學院正式籌建成立。數據科學學院在大學瞄準國際科技前沿、聚焦創新發展、發揮學科優勢的重要戰略。爲了數據科學學院更好的未來,我們開發了一套新的計算機科學課程,包括人工智能、信息安全和數據科學,從學士、碩士到博士。這將是強大的數據科學與信息技術學院,擁有澳門沒有的獨特課程,將爲澳門未來的發展做出貢獻。
澳門城市大學的數據科學學院宗旨是配合國家發展大灣區的重要戰略,服務澳門特區的發展政策,推動本澳及大灣區智慧產業發展,培養數據科學與信息技術領軍人才,引領一流數據科學與信息技術研究,建設成在數據科學與信息技術領域的教育科研、應用、產業孵化等方面具有引領地位的重要研究與教學基地。務求達緻〝人才培養、科技研發、知識傳播〞三位一體的教學模式,加強本澳科技力量的累積,爲澳門產業多元化助力。
在人才培養方面,學院堅持參照國際一流高校數據科學與信息技術的培養體系,優化課程設置,提高人才培養的系統性以及專業性。另外,通過基於交叉學科的課程體系設計,重點培養出具有數據科學與信息技術理論與專業應用背景的複合人才,並激發學生的創新精神與團隊合作意識,使學生除了獲得較寬的知識面,其綜合素質也獲得全面的提高。院設有博士、碩士和學士學位課程。
數據科學學院在學校和社會力量的支援下,努力打造一支高水平的專業師資團隊。在國際知名教授爲首的專家領導下,爲學院的發展方向提供了科學規劃和人才引進機制。目前,數據科學學院的教學與科研團隊均具有國内外著名大學博士學位,並將持續引進具有國際學術聲譽的優秀人才。
數據科學學院在人員交流培養、技術開發等方面積極與國內外研究所、行業和地方政府進行全面合作,同時也是橫琴新區博士後科研工作站夥伴基地,在智慧城市、旅遊、商務、製造、醫療、健康、養老、金融、區塊鏈、人工智能、網路安全與隱私保護、海洋等產業方向對研發的技術進行轉讓和產業化。
